Celebrate our similarities and differences.

Together we can make a difference on a global scale. One initiative, one person, one responsible decision to act on one's creative vision can create change for the greater good.

This short yet mindful art experience is for all ages and skill levels.  We invite you to participate and to send your project to us for inclusion in the online gallery by Holocaust Remembrance Day April 8th, 2021. The mailed submissions will be woven together to create a quilt, a celebration of life. This will be displayed in a traveling art exhibition TBD.

We all have the child within us, the one that wants to be recognized and not forgotten. Take any size paper and make a mark for each year of your life, to celebrate your existence, your uniqueness, and honor the 1.5 million children whose lives were taken in the Holocaust. The Holocaust happened to children, children who never had the chance to grow into adults. Or the chance to have their own children.

If you are 12 years old, make 12 marks. If you are 40 years old, make 40 marks. You may choose to do that number over and over, repeatedly. As you make each mark reflect on your life year by year. How are you going to make a mark on the world?

At the bottom or back please include:

  • your name or anonymous

  • your age

  • total lines

  • optional written reflection
