During the "blanco + 1" opening reception.⠀ ⠀ The Arts Warehouse Delray exhibition features 29 works selected from an open call for art (with over 100 pieces submitted!) and showcases interpretations of the theme “blanco + 1”, or white plus one color or element. ⠀ ⠀ This piece sat for a few months, untitled and unfinished. The work created intuitively as usual seemed to illustrate a school of fish.
⠀ When I saw this call for art I scream inside and said "this one's for me!" This piece came to mind and the title came to me, "Jetstream" It all made sense. During the time I created this work, I was working with @cameogore and @suzanneadams from @IgniteandExpand. These two amazing mentors would always say "get into the jet stream!" I was channeling this subconsciously in my art:-)⠀ ⠀ My work along with others are on view through August 28th. Reception to celebrate during Art Walk on August 2nd, 6-9pm.
