A Clear Day

"A Clear Day," from my series "Spring in Suburbia." So happy things are clearer! Using art as a metaphor for life is such an amazing gift to self. I used to speak about my negative feelings about living in suburbia quite often. Perhaps you can relate. With time, reflection, and soul searching I've embraced where I am today. There is a time and place for everything.

Surrendering to the facts of existence is another vital component of your plan to maintain meaning, reduce depression, and create.  Your anger, sadness, and anxiety about the facts of existence cause blocks and the desire to have reality be something different from (and better than) what it is prevents change.  The question to ask is, "Given the facts of existence, what efforts must I make in order to have the creative life that I want?" - excerpt from Dr. Eric Maisel
