What art material is the most intimate for you, and why?
nostalgia? physical? visual? metaphor?.....
For me, the marker (s). Starting with the memory of my father. The immediacy, the ability to organize and mark what the item is in that moment with a sharpie, the words. "tools" "cables" "Spray paint." In time, my marks, making a language, sometimes a secret language of my subconscious or consciousness. And the ability to play with this tool beyond its original intent, adding water to it, allowing the undertones of this tool to emerge ( a metaphor for human emotional undertones)
