The beautiful part about creating self portraits, is the reflection.
ha, I didn't even realize that this was a reflection but that's not the point. The point is, in this case, I was so amused with my reflection, the composition, my dress, and hiding my face. It just felt right. When I step back and look at the photo a day and weeks later I realize how telling it was.
In fact, I'm hiding from myself. Have you ever felt this way? Is it possible to love yourself and still be embarrassed or shamed about certain thoughts and circumstance? "Actually, you should never hide from your challenges. Face them head-on, for they are part of your divine plan.
